We accept children eligible for the following funding:
2yr olds – Working Parent Funding – up to 30hours per week
Families in receipt of government support – Up to 15hours per week
3yr & 4yr olds – Universal funding – Up to 15hours per week
Working parent funding – up to 30hours per week
Funding can be claimed for 38 weeks a year
First Steps pre-school is open term time only (38 weeks per year)
We do not accept children under 2years of age
Funding can be claimed the term after the child turns 2 or 3yrs old (depending on type and eligibility)
For example –
Child turns 2 on 16th September, funding can be claimed from the Spring term in January.
Child turns 3 on 3rd July, funding can be claimed from Autumn Term in September.
Unfunded children are charged at a rate of £7 per hour (subject to change).
Any additional hours above funded entitlement will be charged at the unfunded rate.
