An insight into school prep sessions:
During our sessions we aim to increase the children's development in readiness for statutory full-time education.
Activities can include and are not limited to:
- Pencil Skills
- Number and Letter Recognition
- Story Telling/Acting out Stories
- Awareness of other Languages
- Undressing and Dressing i.e. changing into outdoor clothes and shoes
- Experiments/Investigations
Many of these activities are routinely included throughout the week during the normal day as part of our Continous Provision.
